Suman Mukhopadhyay

Suman Mukhopadhyay se consacre tout autant au théâtre qu’à la réalisation cinématographique. Il monte de nombreuses pièces, au Bengale et aux États-Unis, adapte des œu­vres alle­mandes en colla­boration avec le Goethe Institut. En amoureux de la littérature, il choisit d’adap­ter le roman du grand écri­vain bengalais Rabin­dranath Tagore pour tourner Chaturanga, son deuxième long métrage.
