A tireless creator, author of a vast body of theatrical work, the filmmaker Sacha Guitry will be in the spotlight at the 51st Fema with a selection of 12 films demonstrating his modernity, directorial prowess, textual artistry, and fascination with actors.
Among the scheduled films: Good Luck, Let’s Make a Dream, Confessions of a Cheat, My Last Mistress, The Lame Devil, Deburau, and Poison.
This retrospective will be accompanied by a “Parcours Guitry” with the screening of a different emblematic film every day, followed by a short presentation/lecture by a specialist: Nicolas Pariser, Noël Herpe, Nathalie Dray, Pascal Mérigeau, Charles Tesson, Raphaëlle Moine, Sébastien Ronceray, etc.
A retrospective organized in partnership with Gaumont and Ciné +, in collaboration with TF1 Studio, Pathé, and Éditions René Château.
An initial cycle of 7 rereleased films will be shown in French theaters this autumn by Les Acacias.
