Practical Informations

The region’s popularity with tourists and the ever-growing number of festival-goers can make finding somewhere to stay during this period particularly challenging.

Since 2003, the Film Festival has chosen to tackle this issue by:

  • offering students, the unwaged and under-25s accommodation in the form of bungalow-style tents;
  • developing a partnership with the La Rochelle Tourist Information Centre.

Accommodation available through the festival

Accommodation in bungalow-style tents at Camping du Soleil

€4 per person per night

Since 2004 the festival has partnered with the CMCAS (staff welfare organisation for those working in the energy sector)

to offer accommodation in the form of bungalow-style tents at Camping du Soleil in Les Minimes. These 4-berth tents come fully equipped and feature two twin bedrooms. The campsite has security guards and is located close to the festival venues (roughly 10 minutes on foot using the shuttle boat service).

To make a reservation, simply contact the festival’s office on +33 (0)5 46 52 28 96, stating your name and arrival and departure dates. You will receive confirmation of your reservation and other relevant information by post. Payment is to be made directly on site.

You are advised to reserve as early as possible, starting in mid-May

Remember: this accommodation is reserved for under-25s, students and the unwaged.
